About our Program
The Grace Job Seekers NetWORK program teaches a 7-step process that helps people to hear and follow God's calling as they explore careers and search for the right job. You will learn how to do a job/career search in today’s world with a focus on God’s calling for you. A Christ-Centered approach is something you won’t get from other job networking groups.
This class works through the lessons in a 70-page hands-on career transition tool, Crossroads Career Work Book. The program runs January – June but you can attend any week. Our program is free and open to anyone at anytime. There is a $5.00 cost for the workbook! Please join us or spread the word if this group may help someone you know in transition.
CHAPTER SUMMARIES
Step 1- Upward - Hear and Follow God's Calling
How great would it be to hear and follow the upward call of God? Imagine getting up every day with the conviction that you are on the planet for a purpose. How fufilled would you be to know that you and your work matter to God and that He is pleased? But How? This chapter will cover ways to hear and follow God's calling for you.

"Thus says the Lord, 'Stand at the crossroads and look...ask where the good way is...and walk in it..." - Jeremiah 6:16
Step 2- Attitude - Reach Forward
In this lesson we will discuss how to go into the job search with a more positive attitude, letting go of the past so you can reach toward the future and accepting opportunity that awaits - pressing on towards the goal.
"Forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:13-14
Step 3- Aptitude Discover Your Best
You are uniquely designed by God There is no one like you anywhere. This chapter is designed to help you figure out what makes you unique and through several assessments, will help you discover what you do best , what your passions are and what your calling is.

Step 4- Altitude Target Opportunities
We will learn about targeting opportunities and help you identify what employers need most so that you can articulate what you do best.

Step 5- Searching "Seek To Serve"
Rather then just look for a job, seek to serve others with what you do best. Sometimes finding the right opportunity comes from seeing something you are not seeking. This chapter focuses on that plus networking, elevator pitches and a best strategy of (1) All-the-time praying (2) On the ground networking (3) online searching.

Step 6- Sorting "Wow Interviewers"
Are you confident that your next interview will result in a job offer? Learn how to wow in interviews, how to be best prepared, learn about all the various types of interviews you may face and how the right references can help you land a job.

Step 7- Selecting "Walk in Good Works"
This could be the most difficult of all steps in the job searching process. Learn how to better negotiate the offer collaborating for a win-win!
